Christmas & New Year’s Order Guide

Large cocktail shrimp are about 35 per pound, Jumbo are about 25 per pound, and Canadian Grilled are about 30 per pound.

Mussels and clams are sold by weight because sizes vary. Generally, there are about 25 mussels per pound and 7–8 top neck or little neck clams per pound. We always add a few extras in case some prematurely open or fail to open.

Shucked Gulf Coast oysters are sold in pint or half-gallon containers. A pint weighs about 1 pound and generally contains 18–22 oysters. A half gallon contains 4 pints and weighs approximately 4 pounds.

East Point Oysters are available individually or by the case of 100.

Yes. Physical gift cards are available in any amount at Absolutely Fresh Seafood Market, Bailey's, and any Shucks Fish House. Physical gift cards can also be mailed. E-Gift Cards are available online and can be emailed directly to you or the recipient.

No. All Absolutely Fresh Seafood Market orders are pickup only at 1218 S 119th St in Omaha. We do not currently ship or deliver Market orders.

Yes. Ordering ahead is strongly recommended during the holidays. Holiday ordering deadlines apply to all orders, and some items have earlier special-order deadlines. Ordering early also gives you the best selection as Christmas and New Year’s approach.

Possibly. Holiday volume, seasonality and supplier minimums can limit special orders, so contact us as early as possible if you're looking for something specific.

A good starting point is 2–4 ounces per person for appetizers and 6–8 ounces per person for entrées. Give us a call if you'd like help figuring out the right amount for your gathering.
